Help with your checks, reminders, backups and subscription.

Today and Templates

Templates hold the reusable lists you set up for next time. Today shows scheduled and ongoing checks and the checks you finished. Use the weekly calendar to view another day and reserve a future check. Choose Start another check for a template you use occasionally, or Quick check to paste a one-off list.

Bring your things back

Open a completed check and select Create return check. This creates a fresh check from the items you actually checked, including optional items and items added just for that outing.

Reminders

Allow notifications in system Settings. Turn Reminders off inside a check to silence that check. Focus modes, notification settings and the system affect delivery. Opening Takealong refreshes its future reminder schedule. Completing or skipping a check stops its reminders. Reopening it keeps reminders off until you explicitly turn them on again.

Apple Watch

Create a Quick check on Watch with reminders on by default. Add items one at a time using the standard Watch input, then tap Add to continue. Start check also includes your current unadded entry. Swipe a saved check to delete it after confirmation; this deletes its history and stops reminders on both devices once synchronized, while keeping the template. Keep Bluetooth/Wi-Fi available and open Takealong on both paired devices. Changes synchronize when WatchConnectivity is available. On supported Watches, the system's notification Double Tap action opens the check. Change Time opens a reminder delay picker with the Digital Crown and one-minute +/− controls.

Back up and restore

Changes update an automatic backup stored locally on your iPhone. Export a separate backup to Files or iCloud Drive from Settings. Local automatic backups are not an automatic cloud sync service. Keep a separate exported copy before removing the app or changing devices.

Manage your subscription

Open Takealong Plus and select Restore Purchases if an active subscription is missing. Use Manage Subscription or your Apple Account settings to view renewal details or cancel. Apple handles billing and refunds; Apple billing support can help with charges.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged. Access continues for the applicable paid period after cancellation.

Takealong does not require an account. Checklist data stays on your devices. See our Privacy Policy for backup retention and deletion details.
